Good place to stay for train bus station.

The spa using the pool and steam room . We got evening meal that was nice. With not speaking french the waitress and waiters did their best . Very nice hotel food/ breakfast. Breakfast is self serving . Shower was good Also. Loction is 5 min walk to train bus station. If visiting St mont michel.

Not much sign wise for pool . And the room was a bit cold.

Excellent.

The staff was very friendly as a family. The restaurant was like a starred restaurant. Excellent cleanliness.

Too much gas smell in the access ramp to the underground car park.

Incredibly comfortable stay. We will come to stay again.

Family Room had a an excellent layout, very spacious. Really liked the upper level for space for us and two children.

We had dinner in the restaurant, mostly very good however I was unhappy with an undercooked steak. Staff very obliging to cook it some more, however I really didn't enjoy it. No fault of staff or service, just a a bad dinner choice.

We only used this hotel to drop off a rental car and catch a train the next day, and for that purpose, it was fine. I appreciated the tray of free goodies next to the reception with delicious apple juice and local pastries. Bright room with 2 large windows.

The spa is very small and it was a hassle to have to remember to book it in advance. Reception is a few steps above street level and you have to use a very slow open lift if you have luggage.

Not far from the centre

Decoration is updated and spa included (bring your cap!). Breakfast was very good. Rituals shampoo and gel.

Views not good. My toilet was not very clean and the dryer did not work. They just leave sone decaf and no cream or sweetener. So a bit incomplete compares to other Novotels I have been to.

Clean and neat with some nice design features. 15minutes walk to old town and town hall, and 3minutes walk to Rennes train and bus station.

No safe deposit box in room.

Highly recommended

Excellent location, 10 minutes walk from the main shopping precinct and all the bars and restaurants. Hôtel has a pool and Spa (unfortunately we never had time to use it but it looks great) Reception staff were all lovely and spoke English without any problem. Room was fantastic and breakfast was very good with a choice of pastries, hot and cold meats, fruit and drinks

Wonderful

The spa is great. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

It should have rules about kids using the spa, because there were a lot of jumping in the water, screaming, etc.

Superb breakfast ! Friendly staff especially Alicia at the front desk who found my cell phone and notified me!! Clean! Centrally located! Nespresso coffee capsules renewed daily!

Nice hotel with SPA, close from everything

Very nice to have access to the SPA (Swimming pool, Jacuzzi and Hammam). Nice location (close to the train station and not far from the city center).

It is the second time that I came in this hotel and first time alone for one day, my room was twice bigger as this one for 2 persons for 3 days.

Lovely room and great car park.

We booked a junior suite, because they had no twin rooms available. The suite, we were first shown into, smelled of smoke, so we were straight away upgraded for the same price to a larger suite. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Car park was great and in house.

The shower was a bit blocked and the hair dryer did not work, but we only discovered these issues the following morning. We are sure if we would have mentioned those to the staff in the evening, they would have sorted it out in time for the morning.

Location and facilities, backed up by an excellent restaurant and helpful staff.

Our room had an issue with dripping water, the staff promptly moved us to a new room, but would have been better without the hassle of moving.

Good location but don't take the express breakfast

The hotel is comfortable and well located. Especially if you are using the Rennes train station nearby.

We purchased the express breakfast at the hotel as we had an early train departure. Our decision was based on the explanation from the front desk that the express breakfast was everything that was not salty. However the staff at breakfast had a different view of the express breakfast; they understood it as coffee and pastry. We did not get what was promised by the front desk staff. Had we known the express was just coffee and a pastry, we would have purchased it at the train station and had more for less money. When we tried to discuss this at the front desk on checkout, we were given a rude explanation and the problem was dismissed as solved.
